SpamSentry Configuration

SpamSentry Features Overview

SpamSentry currently offers two configurable features: FUD Control and Spam Guard. Both features are designed to help manage negativity and spam within your communities.

Assisted FUD Control

FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) can manifest as fear-inducing questions or direct accusations, potentially damaging the credibility of a project. To combat this, we have developed a model that recognizes and flags instances of negativity or fear-inducing inquiries. However, as an AI model, SpamSentry may occasionally generate false positives. To mitigate this issue, we have implemented a unique approach that enlists the help of your community to eliminate these inaccuracies.

How Does It Work?

When SpamSentry flags a user for creating FUD, a timer is activated, notifying the community that the individual will be muted for their negative message. The community has 15 seconds to intervene. If the community feels the flag is justified, no action is required, and the member will be muted automatically. However, if they believe the flag is a false positive, they can take action to prevent the muting from occurring.
